Description: Stories of Kentucky Feuds. A vintage hardcover book by Harold Wilson Coates. Published in 1942 by Holmes Darst Coal Corporation. It features 12 true and historical accounts (stories) of the private wars in Kentucky called "Feuds" in what is considered "a now vanished phase of American life". Contains 280 pages with 36 illustrations in black and white. On the inside there are no writing rips tears or folds on any of the pages other than the normal light tanning of pages due to age. As far as wear outside there is some light wear on the spine and the last page has pulled away slightly from binding. There is some light staining on the cover and light wear on spine. Overall in good vintage condition for its age. View closeup of all photos for the best detail and condition. A nice collectible addition to any library of historical and antiquarian books. Will be shipped in a bubble wrapped envelope by Media mail.
