The 12" platter is in excellent condition, with no scratching, dullness, or marks across the surface. It is a textured surface, and the oat pattern is embossed. See photos from multiple angles to see the finish. The large serving bowl is 8 3/4" in diameter, and is in great condition also. There is one small indent in the glaze along the outer bowl, shown in the last photos. It is covered by glaze, so not a crack or chip. There are no chips or cracks on either item. However, there are some areas along the rim of the dishes where the finish has worn through, and the silvery underlying material is showing. This is mostly hidden by the pattern's existing dark edges, but I've tried to show it clearly in photos where it is visible.
