Description: NOTE: J-59 is my inventory # only. Here is a older Starrett 196 back plunger dial indicator set in its original wooden box. Resolution on the indicator is .001" and the dial is a 0-100" range. Always zeroes and does not stick. Lens is clear and not scratched up. Both rods are in the set for the clamp (shorter one) and for the tool post bar (longer one). The longer tool post bar has 3 jaw marks on the bottom where someone tightened it to the tool post bar with pliers but it is cosmetic only as the snug never slides or mounts down that low on the bar. (See the photo with the red pointer). There is also one extra larger hardened contact point already on the indicator so 4 tips/points are included.
