Description: Estate Pipe - The pipe is marked as follows: Stanwell Made in Denmark (some letters are impossible to read) Buffalo 50 S Crown logo on the stem is a bit faded. Please see the photos as I tried to capture everything about the pipe. Wonderful find here with a multi-colored Stanwell in excellent condition. The outer briar looks great with a terrific "shallow blast". The stem is good, not much if any chatter but the logo has some discoloration or fading, just a little. Fit with the tenon and shank is nice. The has the same shallow blast and looks clean. The amazing yellow insert is gorgeous. Looks to be well taken care of and the inner bowl is smooth to the touch. Wide oval shank and bit allows the pipe to be a sturdy sitter. Wide open draw and easily passes a pipe cleaner.Length is 5 3/4" and the weight is 1.3 ounces. The outer bowl height is 1 7/8" tall and the outer width across the rim is 1 3/16" or so, just under 1/4"/. Really nice estate find. The dimensions are done to the best of my ability.
