Description: Vintage Stangl Pottery Magnolia Pattern Salt & Pepper ShakersThe Stangl Magnolia pattern was designed by Kay Hackett and was introduced in 1952. It remained in production until 1978. This pattern was the first to utilize a new green engobe also developed by Kay Hackett that was different than the usual white Stangl backgrounds. The pattern is one of many floral themed designs and features incised lines and raised detail. Like all Stangl, it is hand painted with no two pieces exactly alike. This set features two shakers, a three hole and one five hole for salt and pepper. The front of the shakers feature a red tone magnolia flower in bloom while the reverse side features a fully opened, small, white magnolia. These shakers do not have stoppers. Measures ~ 3" H x 1 1/2" base diameter.In great vintage condition. Normal age related wear around the top shaker holes. Please see the pictures.Local pick up always welcome.
