Merchandise Description This ebay auction is for one (1) Strattec brand Chevy/GMC OEM tailgate lock cylinder...just as pictured. This lock cylinder does not come with any keys....it is a special type cylinder which can be set/coded to work with your existing ignition/door key. You can do this yourself...it is as simple as removing the protective seal on the front of the lock, inserting your existing key fully into the lock, and turning the key...the lock then learns the cut of your key and is then unique to your key only.It is for 07-13 Silverado/Sierra new body style pickups...NOT for 07 Classic or older pickups.Does NOT come with any additional clips, gaskets, or attachments...other than what is pictured.This lock is made by Strattec....Strattec is an OEM. GM buys this part from Strattec and packages it under the GM name.
