Description: This is an autographed first edition, first printing of Ursula K. Le Guin's SEAROAD; Chronicles Of Klatsand. 1991 HBDJ is flat-signed by the author on the title page. "First Edition" is stated on the copyright page and first printing is indicated by the uncut number-line running "10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1." Book has mild stain at the lower heel, page #23 is creased and torn from a publisher's defect (photos) which, curiously, can add even higher value to collectable books. There is some bumping and light fade to quarter-cloth spine. Otherwise boards and pages are flat, clean and tight to good binding. Pages are flat, sitting even, clean and are un-marked except for the Maestra's distinctivly elegant signature. Autograph is all by itself with no devaluing dedication, doodles or dates. Dustjacket has mild bleed to inside heels; does not show through to the surface. Mild rubbing to covers and bumping to heels and corners. Please see all photos. No stock images here.
