Petersen himself hadworked as a lumberjack, starting in the late 19th century. This book is a novel that is based on those times. This is a hardback book with dustjacket, 8 1/2" by 6", 241 pages. The book is signed and inscribed by the author on the third front endpage. The book itself is in very good condition, with moderate wear. The dustjacket is in fair/good condition, with some creases, edgewear, and general wear. It is now protected by a clear plastic cover.
