Description: Pictured is a quite short brown Albany slip glazed stoneware canner offered for sale. The wax sealer is a rich light chocolate brown coloration. It measures 4 3/4" in height, 4 5/8" in base diameter, & dates from 1880 - 1915. As seen, there are a few slivers on the inner rim & brim. There is a small sliver on the exterior rim as well, see Pic. A great countertop container for kitchen utensils or perhaps for use in the office....
