Description: This vintage original WWII poster was created by the artist Irving Nurick issued jointly by the United States Treasury and the Office of Education to promote the "Schools at War" program in 1942. Schools at War was a hugely successful program that raised billions of dollars in the sale of war bonds and war savings stamps and also organized scrap drives and activities that allowed school age kids to support the war effort. This poster was issued in 1942 and is one of the first WWII posters connected to the Schools at War program.
