Description: This antique opalescent glass bowl from Beaumont is a rare find from the Victorian era. It’s well over 100 years old. The triangular shape with 3 sides up and folded in, and the beautiful Admiral line number 99 pattern make it a perfect decorative piece for all occasions. The bowl is hand-made and has a production technique of pressed glass in the Early American Pressed Class style. NOTE: this bowl is in wonderful condition. The opalescence is very pretty and fiery. There are, of course, some minor straw marks, shearing tool marks and internal air bubbles/cinders from manufacturing. These are very commonly associated with early American pressed glass. Please see photos for minor flaws. Again, these are to be expected due to the age and production style of this piece. No two pieces are identical and each one is unique unto itself. In one photo, you will notice a small embedded cinder, and there are two inclusions on the scallops of the base foot. These happened during the production process. I am happy to answer any and all of your questions before purchase. Thank you. The opalescent glass is in a flower theme and has a beautiful color that adds to its charm. This bowl is an original antique piece and was manufactured in 1898 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. It is recommended to hand wash only and is a must-have for collectors of vintage glassware.
