Suryaninov Ruben Vasilyevich (1930 - ) The famous Russian painter, graphic artist, poster artist and illustrator. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1961). Member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR (1966). Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Known primarily as the author of numerous posters on the theme of domestic and foreign policy, mothers, children and sports. 1930 born in Moscow, the son of a famous poster artist Suryaninova V.V.(1903 - 1991). 1956 graduated from the Art Academy of the Latvian SSR, studied with P. Lyubomudrova. Just right after graduation, began to study the socio-political and health education posters. Worked in the publishing house "Izogiz", "Fine Arts", "Soviet Artist", "Poster Map". Collaborated with publishers "Health Education" and "DOSAAF" (late 1950s-1970s). 1957-1958: Worked on film posters in the "Reklama Film". More than thirty years R. Suryaninov worked in "Agitplakat" USSR Union. 1969-1980: Collaborated with the studio of visual agitation in Agriculture of the RSFSR.
