Description: Antique Rookwood Pottery glaze vase with floral pansy decoration with customary Rookwood flame mark and no # underside, so it's likely 1899 or 1900 since Howard Altman was only at Rookwood from 1899 to 1904. Artist initialed HA (Howard Altman), number 708C, measuring 2.5" high x 4.5" wide. Crazing to finish, and otherwise in nice shape with minimal wear, and a couple small spots of minimal finish loss. Not bad for being 125 years old! Artist info: Howard Altman worked at Rookwood Pottery for only a few short years, from 1899 until 1904, and worked primarily in floral designs on Standard Glaze pieces.
