This is the Home Is Where The Hearth Is Lantern; only 100 of these lanterns were made. This piece is numbered 57/100. It features a hand sculpted black bear perched on the opening of the lantern. A stone hearth is sculpted around the opening and the chimney. Festive garlands encircle the sides of the piece. The inside of the lantern would hold several small tea lights or a small/medium candle. Artists that worked on the lantern: Kevin Hicks (KH) - owner and founder of Ephraim Pottery; Laura Klein (LK) - sculptor; Alek Schroeder (AS) - artist; MJ (not sure on the name; they are no longer listed on the Ephraim Pottery site) Approx.
