Rare Working Nakamichi CR-7A Cassette Deck Recorder Player Connecticut

Description: Purchased From my local Goodwill. It had a dirty contact on the tape control cam above the transport on the right. Tape would rewind then stop and rewind and stop over and over. Probably why it ended up at goodwill. Cleaned contact and Put in a new tape and tested. It worked. Records fine and plays back consistently at least 10 times fine. Auto calibration is perfect. Goes through every step azimuth, level and bias calibration Fast forward reverse a 90 minute tape many times. Worked every time. I did not pull off any knobs to clean as everything worked and didn't want any problems. IF ITS NOT BROKEN LEAVE IT ALONE. I Opened cover and blew out with compressed air can. Had very little dust. I cleaned rollers with qtips and acholol. The belts I can see looked good and worked. Deck lamp behind tape not lit. Wiring looks good. Deck drive face was / is missing. Lower right Output pot looks a little bent but works perfectly. Will need to change lithium battery for memory No voltage on soldered 3v origional lithium battery. I left it alone All lamps except for lamp behind tape and buttons work and feel as they should. Each Dolby B and C and azimuth work fine and can watch and hear the azimuth and Dolby work It's NICE. Sound so nice. Needs a good home and fine cleaning. Oily finger marks and dusty spots on Volume Controls I didn't remove front face. You can do that. Some scratches on case and Pictures show all.
