Found in 1950s Here’s a PAIR of 1600s glass trade trade beads including a rarer “REDWOOD” glass trade beads (lla1 in the Kidd and Kidd bead classification) and a LARGE AND DESIRABLE BLUE ROUND (lla40 kidd and kidd). LARGEST IS APPROX. 3/8” long. These were found by William Carter in Ontario Co NY. Carter hunted heavy in the 1950s on dozens of Iroquois sites and was involved with the Lewis Morgan Chapter of the NY state archeological association along side Charles F Wray and Worked with Dr William Ritchie on projects.
