Description: Hummel Figurine HUM 10 “Flower Madonna” - Rare Full Bee Mark - Early Edition (1935-1950) This listing is for the highly sought-after Hummel figurine HUM 10, known as “Flower Madonna.” This is an early and rare edition, identifiable by the “full bee” stamp and the open halo on the Madonna. These features date the piece to somewhere between 1935 and 1950, as later versions were made smaller and featured a closed halo. Height: Approximately 12 to 13 inches tall Condition: Excellent condition for its age, carefully preserved by my mother over the years. Some fine crazing is visible on the lighter areas, consistent with age. No cracks, chips, or missing details. There are a few dusty areas that I have not attempted to clean. Significance: This piece was first created in 1935 and is one of the most cherished figurines in my mother’s collection. This is an absolutely stunning piece of Hummel artistry and a rare find for collectors. It has been one of my mom’s most treasured possessions, and we are now parting with it as she has moved into assisted living and has less room for her beloved items. This figurine is one that we acquired during my parents’ time stationed overseas in Germany.
