Description: VERY UNUSUAL HUGE Antique Edison Mazda Patent 1904 Lightbulb DESCRIPTION: Scans show it all.....UNUSUALLY LARGE EARLY ANTIQUE Edison type lightbulb. 7 1/2" tall. Has the classic early glass tip. Also has the original brown label and the stencilled Edison Mazda logo. The internal wires/filaments are large, with a tall central glass post, and all appears completely intact. However, I have no way of testing it, so I can't say whether or not it works. Still, at the very least it is a great early display piece. Bulb glass is in excellent condition. The style is nice AND VERY EARLY. It has the patent information stamped in the brass, with two November 1904 patent dates. I believe all the early GE Edison Mazda bulbs were made in the National Mazda New Jersey plant. This is a great early bulb for display or to complete a period lamp or fixture!! THIS IS THE LARGEST EARLY BULB I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! You won't find another one like this!!
