NOTE; Due to shipping delays to Florida, it is to risky to guarantee live delivery due the USPS routing and so at this time I will not be making this angelfish strain available unless buyers is willing to cover over night or second day delivery charges. NOTE; the fish pictured in the photos are if different pairs. The fish you will receive are guaranteed to be of my strain but they maybe one of these shown and a different mate. My pairs were all in one large 55 gal tank as the paired and matured. I only have one established breeding pair at this time and have numerous fish which are in process of choosing mates. Controlled Breeding and lots of patience has produced A true military/Olive upper body freshwater tropical Angelfish. This is a new strain developed in Southern California and matured has a olive military green upper body coloration with a distinct reddish coloration up the dorsal fin. RARE- NEW STRAIN, FIRST TIME AVAILABLE AND ONLY limited to a few pairs. Diameter of body is between 1 1/2”-2” and from tip if dorsal to bottom of anal fin is approx 4”. These still are young fish and will become much large up to total height of 6-7” + if provided proper space to grow. I will only be shipping out on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. To have your order shipped on Monday, you must have your order in by early Friday evening. Orders placed after Friday will go out the following Monday to avoid any delays and shipping to be stuck in transport on Sundays. At this time there will only be two sets available. Pricing is firm due to rarity of these fish and stain. Again these are proven pairs being that they have bonded and spawned at least twice. The pairs are not yearlings. The fish breed true. This is the results of 7 years of strict controlled breeding. Pairs require at least a 20 gallon tank. I breed with live plants of Java fern which produce live single cell micro Organisms which will provide fry with their first food and sponge filters. PH runs about 7.5-8.0 here. Temp is around 80. I rare the fry with their parents and breed in low traffic areas. There is nothing more rewarding then seeing a tank full of small angels swimming with their parents. I have also been successful with having multiple breedings by the same parents in the same tank and having different offspring being raised together and the younger offspring following the older babies around. This is not recommended though. The better thing to do, would be to remove the parents first and then to remove the young to different quarters, and them to do some Maintenance before moving the parents back to the tank unless the yield is low and you can safely remove the young before the parents lay new eggs. The last picture is the type of plants I have been using in my tanks since they provide shelter, spawning surface and hiding for young. I also sell those here in eBay. Contact me if you have difficult finding. If when you receive the fish and something has happened submit within 2 hours of delivery. DO NOT OPEN bag and take pictures and send to me within a two hour of delivery time frame. Do not dispose of the dead fish until I requested for the fish to be sent back or other wise. The pair will be shipped packed separately unless other wise requested. This assures less chance of injury from knocking against each other during shipment. Shipments only to the continental United States. No exceptions. Please float the bags in the tank which they were housed in for the trip 20-30 min and afterwards do not add tank water to bags but net out fish and gently into tank then dispose of the water in the bags. Again, this angelfish strain has proven to be less aggressive than other strains I have handled so I do not advise combining them with other fish first of all not until quarantining them for 3-5 weeks and most definitely if you’ve added any new fish in the last week or two please remove prior if you plan for breeding. My fish are very healthy and so you should observe them first to size up what other types of fish might do good if added with them. I’ve had 5 breeding pairs in a 55 gal tank and even had babies swimming with their parents with no issues of one pair injuring or killing any of the other pairs present in the tank. I do not recommend doing so without loss of fry eventually. Now they do chase other tank mates away when they get to close to the eggs Or young. Again, I am only making two (2) pair available at this time and for a limited time.
