Russian imperial snuff box measures approximately 91mm x 46mm x 30mm. Hinge is intact and tight. Box opens and closes perfectly. Weight is 138 grams. Hand-engraved inscription and date inside box. French text in Niello on thumbpiece. Condition is original / fine. Hallmarked 84 designating 84 Russian silver. There is also what appears to be a Swedish or French silver hallmark with three crowns. Museum quality. One of a kind. Authentic and correct.
