Rare Antique 1920's Moorecroft Ridged Footed Purple/Blue Luster Glaze 9” Bowl

Description: Very rare antique late 1910's to early 1920's Moorecroft ridged footed purple/blue luster glaze 9” bowl, excellent condition without chips, cracks, or crazing. Some manufacturing irregularities, such as color variance to pinker hue near one edge, glaze blips/bubbles, darker areas here and there, as well as manufacturing crack near inside edge. Hand signed on bottom by William Moorecroft, and stamped with, Made in England, a capitalized M, and Moorecroft, as well as a production number I can't make out. The bowl is absolutely gorgeous nonetheless with it's nearly color changing luster/iridescent glaze over top of finely spaced ridge pattern. I am not certain it is safe to serve food from the bowl with it's glaze being quite old, but it would make a beautiful display piece. Measures 8 1/4” across top (9” at widest) X 3 3/8” tall. Weight before packaging is 1.40 kg. Smoke and pet free home.
