Description: Title/label/subject: Gentleman standing by horse and carriage on ranch/farm with portion of house visible. Inscribed "Capt. Mann" This postcard is from a small collection of New Mexico postcards, and the writing on the front appears to be in the same hand as writing on two Fort Sumner postcards I'm selling. There was also a "Capt. Mann" (originally of Colorado Springs) who worked on irrigation ditches in the Pecos River valley in New Mexico, and (as far as I can tell) he ended up staying in New Mexico--but farther south, somewhere in Eddy County. Publisher/photographer: unknown Date: ca. 1910 Condition: Please examine the photos (front and back) to determine condition. NOTE: A little rough - corner/edge wear; extensive staining/soiling; some fading Postcards that sell for up to $20 will ship using eBay's "Standard Envelope" option (tracked and insured); postcards that sell for over $20 will ship sandwiched between rigid foamcore (and in sleeves, in a mailer) as Ground Advantage packages (with tracking and insurance).
