Description: Porroglossum eduardii is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful miniature orchids. It has Bullate leaves and large for the genus bright red flowers. This orchid needs intermediate to cool temperatures, clean water, and moderate light. It creeps around its mount and blooms from the branches that are hanging off. Large specimens are stunning and can bloom year-round. Offered here is a mounted division from our mother plant. We can combine shipping for an extra $1.00 - $10.00 per plant depending on the size of the other plant/plants. We ship on Tuesday and Wednesdays. Please, read below our winter weather shipping policy before ordering. Winter Weather Shipping: 1. We monitor weather daily and will only ship your order if both ours and yours daytime temperatures are above 30F. If the temperatures at either location are lower than that, the shipping will be postponed until the weather warms up. 2. By default shipping is by USPS Priority Mail. However, Fedex 2Day shipping is usually only $5 more than the former and is way more reliable. We strongly recommend using Fedex 2Day during winter months. 3. We pack plants carefully, however in case of cold weather a heatpack is required so the plants do not freeze in transit. If you decide to purchase a heat pack they are $4.00 and available for sale on my eBay Store, just add it to your cart and request a total. 4. If your daytime temperatures are below 40F a heat pack would be advisable. If your daytime temperatures are below 32F I do not recommend shipping even with a heat pack.
