These yarns have beautiful fiber blends and wonderful gradient patterns to them. Poema Alpaca is a lace weight yarn with 75% alpaca, 15% wool and 10% nylon. The yarn is also brushed so it can be knit from a lace gauge up to a bulky gauge. It is also a beautiful yarn to use as a carry-along with another solid yarn to give the solid yarn a gradient look. You can also carry 2-3 skeins together to create a heavier yarn. The two patterns shown in the listing were made by carrying multiple strands of the same color. Patterns available free with purchase upon request. The sweater is knit, and the poncho is crochet. 3 skeins are needed for the sweater, and 2 skeins are needed for the poncho. Each skein contains approximately 437 yards.
