The title page indicates that these were selected and produced from art at The Index of American Design and The National Gallery of art. Each of the twenty prints (printed on thick cardstock paper) has a beautiful image on the front and a history of the original piece on the rear. This is from 1943-I could not get the 1990 creation note off the listing template. Measurements: 11" x 14" Condition: Good to average condition. The covers are loose and worn but still have the cloth binding. No rips, dog ears, or creases. This is uncoated paper so it has age toning in what was the white borders. There is a small smudge on the edge of one image, all the other images are very good and clean. On the back of each one, the year 1944 is written as well as the name "Mildred Roberts". She underlined the date of original drawing on the backs of eight prints, like she was doing research or something. I ran out of photo space to show all 20. This is a complete folio with great images. It is not a pristine book that has never been opened nor kept in archival climate control. I have never seen one yet that is.
