Description: These are a PAIR of Antique Vintage Carriage SLEIGH BELLS each bell attached to a metal strap This set includes 2 METAL straps with 4 bells attached to each for a total of 8 bells Each of the metal straps measure 13 3/4" long by 7/8" wide. Each set of bells are GRADUATED ...meaning smaller than the other (or larger than the other depending on which end you start at) They measure 2 3/8" then 2 7/16" then 2 1/2" then 2 5/8" .Each bell is made of brass and the metal strap is of steel They are NOT new, please expect to see that 1 strap of 4 bells has only one "clapper" and the others missing (there should be 3 clappers under each bell) AND the other strap of 4 bells has only 2 "clappers" again there should be 3 under each bell....AND the the underside of these bells are dirty with surface rust from the clapper holdersSurprisingly enough they sound pretty nice when ringing together...Also expect to see wear to the metal strap to include surface rust, paint splatter, and the bells have grime and dirt...I have NOT washed these or put any water on them...I know some folks are particular on how they clean them.So please note these were taken out of an old barn and have been on the shelf for DECADES they are Dirty.PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES FOR CONDITION, ASK QUESTIONS, MORE PHOTOS AVAILABLEThey will be shipped in a 3 to 4 pound package.Thank you 2024-11-14-N
