The North Carolina Historical Review Published by The North Carolina Historical Commission The North Carolina Historical Review was established in January 1924 as a medium of publication and discussion of history in North Carolina. Four journals were and still are published yearly in the months of January, April, July, and October. These journals were published by the State Department Of Archives And History - Raleigh, NC. What a wonderful resource for the historian, genealogists, or just plain North Carolina history buff. See pictures above for content of each journal listed below. Journals being offered are: Volume LXXXV Number 1 - January, 2008 Volume LXXXV Number 2 - April, 2008 Volume LXXXV Number 4 - October, 2008 The October journal has an index for the entire year of 2008. These are ex-library copies with library markings. The covers show minor wear, soiling, and fading from age and use. Please note from the pictures above that there is damage to the back of the green journal. The interiors are in very good condition with no apparent markings other than the library markings. Bindings are intact. These are used journals and sold AS IS. We are in the process of adding more years of the North Carolina Historical Review as well as journal sets of The National Genealogical Society, the Bulletin of the Genealogical Society of Old Tryon County, plus a number of societies.
