Description: Up for sale is a great hand colored antique Map No. 7 of the United States. Map was published circa 1848 in Smith's Quarto, or Second Book in Geography published by Cady & Burgess. Illustrated by Roswell C. Smith, A.M. It measures approximately 10 x 12. Map shows Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. On the other side is some miscellaneous wording about the United States. Overall map is in very good condition. Some browning to the edges with a few dings around the edges. Some light brown staining that does impact the map area (see photo). Will look very nice framed. Note also that while i have included a picture of the title page that is not included in the sale as it is a reference piece to determine authenticity for several other maps.
