New 22-1/2” Black Pipestone / Steatite Ceremonial Native American Peace Pipe

Description: Look closely at the photos. This pipe does have a a line so light wrapping around at the bottom of the bowl it can barely be photographed. I have discounted the pipe slightly for that reason. I believe it remains solid and will be fully functional. You are looking at a Hand made Native American Peace pipe. If purchased you will receive the exact pipe and stem shown in the photos. It is brand new, fully functional, never been used or blessed. Would work well for a ceremonial prayer peace pipe or make a fine addition to any collection. This pipe was made out of Canadian Steatite which starts out grey in color and after sanding and polishing it will finish a midnight black. This particular stone is ideal since it is harder and holds up to heat exceptionally well so the pipes last a long time. This is a “4 Winds” style pipe. The rings represent each of the four directions North, South, East and West. However, it is art so they can represent what ever you chose. The bowl itself measures 5-1/2 inches long and stands 3-1/4 inches tall. The stem alone measures 18 inches long. It is left plain and burned to high light the natural beauty of the wood grain. The stem is sealed tight to the bowl when connected with no air leaks. The total length of the pipe bowl and stem when connected is 22-1/2 inches long. I have pictures of the pipe and stem joined together to show you the pipe is drilled straight. My stems aew designed to be inserted only to the fitting marks on the stem and not beyond leaving a small space between the back of the pipe and shoulders of the stem. Attempting to insert the stems farther than intended will result in damage to the pipe, stem, or both and I will not replace the pipe if damage is incurred in this way. The pipe is signed “Loud Thunder” as that is my given Indian name. I am a 5th generation Pipe maker, a lineal descendant of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribe although not enrolled myself.
