Description: - Listing is for ONE (1) "Skid Plate" Assembly – This all Steel heat shield or skid plate is located behind the conventional skid plate on an Eco-boost equipped F-150 (2015-2022). It is the skid plate that protects the motor, the rear of the engine and many drive-train parts. The original piece gets mud, water, dust, road grime and eventually collapses, falls off or deteriorates. Failure to replace this shield WILL result in alternator failure, belt fatigue, and un-needed engine damage. Replacement shield includes new hardware pieces (bolts and brackets) that must be replaced when servicing originally equipped foam heat shield. *some models require using OEM (factory) bolts and U-nut clips. Easy replacement parts!! 3/8 "clip" bolts are much stronger than originals (included). - Powdercoated 1/8” (11ga.) steel has a strong flawless finish. Easy to touch up with black paint. Skidplate is strong and will not bend!
