Description: Vintage made in Murano Vase Murrina Millefiori vith brilliant green , red , blue , and yellow colors. period 1960 Beautiful whale tail design. no signatures Millefiori or “a thousand flowers”, is a particular kind of “murrina”, in which the cross-section of the rods used for the initial bundle is made of concentric layers of different colored glass with a star-shaped core and often mixed to pure gold leaf. In original blown murano glass you can easly find little bubbles or a not perfectly symmetrical shape, that is normal and proof of genuine blow hand made item.
