Description: Rare FRAMED Vintage Unused Tickets! Milwaukee County Stadium was originally scheduled to close at the end of the 1999 season, and move into the new stadium in the 2000 season. In anticipation of the move and to commemorate the many years in County Stadium, the Milwaukee Brewers issued special collectors tickets for the first (April 16, 1999) and last (October 3, 1999) games of the expected final season in 1999. However, as the new stadium was nearing completion, a fatal crane accident occurred at the construction site, killing multiple construction workers, injuring others, and delaying the opening of the new stadium until the 2001 season. As a result, the Milwaukee Brewers played their actual final season in County Stadium in 2000. This time, the Brewers only issued collector tickets for the last game of the season, September 28, 2000. I have kept four UNUSED tickets from the first and last home games for the Brewers in County Stadium for both the 1999 and 2000 seasons. These collector tickets are in mint condition, and are framed in a beautiful wooden frame (frame size is 15-1/2” high x 12-1/2” wide), ready for you to proudly display. The tickets for the first and last home games of 1999 and the last home game of 2000 are fairly common. However, it is much more difficult to find the ticket to the first home game of the 2000 season, April 10, 2000. And to find ALL FOUR of these tickets together IN UNUSED MINT CONDITION is extremely rare! You will absolutely love this item! Buy with confidence as I have earned a perfect 100% positive eBay feedback rating.
