The goal was Mikko's 33rd of the season in what would be become a 55-goal regular season for the winger from Finland, the highest total in Avalanche franchise history, surpassing the great Joe Sakic). The puck has athletic tape around the rim noting the time of the goal -- 17:18 of the second period. The puck was collected by NHL officials and sold in a charity auction in May 2023. A team letter from Kroenke Sports Charities (KSC) will be provided as proof of authenticity. The puck shows some game use and has the tracers embedded.
