The system was 100% disassembled. All the plastics were soaked in a plastic safe chemical to clean any dust buildup. The disc drive was fully disassembled , worm drive cleaned, laser resistance checked and lens cleaned, drive belt replaced, guides re lubricated. It reads games as shown it was tested using GTA San Andreas The board was cleaned it had no corrosion anywhere. The 5 3300mf capacitors were replaced. These are very common failure points and although they still worked it’s a good preventive maintenance to preserve these systems. High quality Panasonic capacitors were used. The old thermal paste was fully removed, and new high quality arctic paste was applied. The surfaces are always cleaned using 99.9% ipa prior and to remove any contamination The fan was cleaned also. The system is in fantastic cosmetic shape, no yellowing, the bottom ex shield has a few spots where it’s discoloured, the top shield is in excellent condition. Please refer to all the images. The authentic controller is 100 % working- it has a bit of discolouration but if it was opened up and cleaned I am certain it would restore. It still has the factory sticker intact, and with how prone to failure the ribbon cable can be, I left it as is. As per all my listings; each individual item will be fully bubble wrapped to ensuring no movement is possible during transport. It will be fully tracked and insured!
