This unit was purchased new in November and then sent to a electronic service center in Salt Lake City where it was serviced with new belts and lubrication even though it was new the belts and lubrication had dried up from the years sitting. It comes in the original box and then double boxed with extra padding for safe shipping. The Discs that ship with the unit are 50 random titles that may be Chosen-selected from the lot of 200+ discs but only 50 discs are included with the player. The Additional discs will be listed separately and available by the genre that they belong to..... Extensive collections of James Bond, Pink Panther, StarTrek, Disney, and the Classics from the 50s to 70's... THE SHIPPING cost will only include the PLAYER and 5 discs or your choice, The remaining 45 discs will be boxed and shipped separately and shipping separately and are absolutely FREE when you pay shipping via freight or other carrier of your choice or Pickup is your option too. Request any movie titles you may want from the collection and ill include them with the 5 discs but the shipping will be calculated for the remaining 45 discs separately after I know your shipping location - or a pallet freight might be the cheaper way to ship. The selection of 45 movies is offered to those who are wanting to pickup or pay for the additional shipping of the discs, Each disc weighs 1.5 lbs ( yeah, 75 lbs for the 50 discs , probably shipped in 3 -25 lb boxes) We have watched dozens of the movies from the extensive collection with amazing clarity even on the a 42" LED TV screen. This player like all players from its time can have little hickups when playing the discs yet most of these discs have not had much use and some of the discs are even still in their original clear wrap and have proven to play beautifully. This amazing player of the 80s is a time capsule and fun just to watch and show off to your friends.... Better than video tapes , kinda like spinning vinyl records on the record player only Hi-Tech 80s style.
