The USPS has been impacted by a lack of commercial flights to transport shipments. First class can now take upwards of 7 days, although we have had consistent success with items arriving very quickly to buyers. Also, tracking of first class is a courtesy, not a requirement, of USPS. It is not uncommon for first class items to not get scanned. But, as they put it - "priority is always the priority." ATTENTION - regarding shipping. Yesterday, December 12th, my postmaster recognized me and informed me that the USPS is running at least a week behind. She expected it to be two weeks behind by the end of the day. My wife and I always work to get shipments out within a day, especially this time of year. While I have great success in packages making due time, please be aware of the impending back-log that might affect shipping times via USPS. Priority might help, but there is no longer any guarantee.
