This 1/25 scale Slot Car or model original vintage. NOTE: The PAPER INFO IS (FOR VIEWING ONLY) AND IS FOR SALE IN MY STORE AND NOT IN THE OFFERING, About the Car: Fords have always won their share of stock car races, but it remained for Dan Gurney to show the boys how with a fabulous string of 4 consecutive first places in the Riverside 500 (1963, 1964, 1965, 1966). This COX 1966 Ford Galaxie Hardtop, powered by the powerful 427 cubic inch Ford V-8 with overhead cams, that Dan drove to victory in the 1966 race. The Cox Manufacturing Company has finally released their on-again, off-again Ford Stocker in 1/24 scale. The car was announced once before, then cancelled due to some sort of problem in the manufacturing end; but now it's on again! This Stocker is the first model kit to be released in the "Dan Gurney Authorized" series and it's a 1/25 scale version of Big Dan's famous 121 Ford stock car that blew off everybody at the Motor Trend Riverside 500 race four years in a row! My Dad owned a Hobby Shop that closed in the early 1970's, and he kept some of the more interesting slot cars and accessories from that era. The items I am listing are in most cases, near new or gently used. I have taken many pictures to show every angle and have tried to describe all features and/or flaws to the best of my ability.
