Description: Here is a scarce, pint mason jar embossed "Mason's / SGCo (monogram) / Nov. 30th / 1858". Dimensions: jar is about 5.5" tall and a little over 3.25" in diameter.Closure - old plain zinc lid. Lip - good ground lip. Typically a little rough in this jar but this one is pretty goodJar - embossing is good to strong. No potstone, cracks, bruises. The glass is nice and shiny with only minor scratching. The SGCo. monogram stands for Swayzee Glass Co. out of Indiana. Base - embossed "212" shows some wear. This jar is an old original jar that is scarce to find in green especially in the pint size.
