The Military Engineer began publishing under that title in 1920, succeeding and continuing the issue numbering of the US Army Corps of Engineers' Professional Memoirs. It is still published today. Measures 9" x 12" with loose map insert inside front cover- East and South Africa. . There is some mild surface discoloration and some wear at edges, corner creases to pages and back cover- last 37 pages. Spine has tears top and bottom.
