Description: Ludwig Classic rack or mounted tom, 9" x 13" in silver sparkle* with pointy blue & olive badge s/n 127xxxx, dating to approximately 1976. The shell appears to be 3-ply with reinforcement rings and Granitone painted interior. It's in very nice condition overall with shiny chrome on the lugs, rims, and mounting bracket, and a round tone control/mute with round knob. The batter head is an Evans G2 coated, and the reso is a Ludwig Rockers smooth white. It tunes easily and sounds great. *The color appears to be silver sparkle that has a slight ginger ale or Mountain Dew tint to it, yet it is consistent all over, and under the hardware. I'm not sure whether it's a typical mid-70's variant or aged, but it is not as purely silver as traditional new or unfaded silver sparkle finishes I've seen.
