If your Ford vehicle is 1997 or newer and does NOT require an electronic key....then this blank could be correct. This key blank is made by Strattec....they are the OEM for this part. Ford buys this part from Strattec and packages it under the Ford name. It has the same appearance, specifications, and quality as those sold under the Ford name.
