Lot Of Intermediate & Student Flutes - Yamaha, Armstrong

Description: For Sale is this lot of 7 flutes for parts or repair, plus a bonus Yamaha french case. Great repairman special. Here’s what’s included #1 - Yamaha 285S intermediate/student flute. Flute. Open hole, inline G, C foot. Plays ok-ish... Looks clean - cosmetically nice. Definitely needs adjustment, possibly pads. Comes in a Yamaha hard case in good condition (I don’t think original - made for B foot). Solid beginner or intermediate flute if repaired. #2 - Armstrong student flute. Vintage (maybe 104 predecessor?). Closed hole, silver plate. Plays up and down, but not well. Needs cleaning, repad, adjustment. Silver plate has pitting. Comes in a cool vintage brown leather French case. Solid beginner flute if repaired. #3 - Blessing intermediate/student flute. Open hole, offset G, C foot. Cosmetically nice, looks clean. One dent by Ab key pictured. This actually plays nicely up and down, pads look good. Could use some slight adjustment. Comes with what I assume to be the original blessing case (smells a little funky). Solid student flute. #4 - Artley 15-0 intermediate flute. Open hole, offset G, C foot. Plays nicely as-is, pads look good, but “clicky” - could use some adjustment and cleaning. Looks very nice cosmetically, will polish up well. Some initials scratched into it - may buff out? Comes in a non-original hard plastic case in very solid condition. Economical intermediate flute. #5 - Selmer Bundy student flute. Closed hole. Silver plating seems in good shape but very tarnished. The flute does not play and will need a full repad to be playable. No physical damage that I can see - just been sitting and needs an overhaul. Comes in the original Bundy hard plastic case in dirty, but solid condition. #6 - “Montivelli” flute. Some kind of stencil brand? Looks to be Italian made…? It is missing the F# key. Headjoint seems to be a gemeinhardt perhaps, but without the logo. Totally for parts or decor. Comes in a gemeinhardt B-foot case in rough shape. #7 - The fancy version of a Glory flute! lol! I didn’t know such a thing existed but here it is. Open hole, offset G, split E, low B foot w/mechanism, and cheaply engraved keys. Plated. Totally bizarre. It seems to be in good shape and plays fine from top to bottom…albeit like a Glory. I wouldn’t personally allow one of my students to play on one of these. Or recommend it to…anyone. lol. But it might make a cold decor piece because of the engraving or something like that. Maybe a knock around flute for a band director until it inevitably breaks? Your choice. The case it comes with actually isn’t too bad - zip up brown canvas with strap and pocket. #8 - Yamaha french flute case w/b foot,covered in tape. It latches ok and the inside is decent. The outside is completely covered in black tape. These instruments are sold as-is, as described. I have not thoroughly inspected each them, just briefly tested and described each, then photographed them. I’m trying to downsize and just want to get rid of this stuff. Could be a great lot for a repairman. Please get these out of my house! These will be shipped either USPS or UPS. Shipping inside US only - NO international shipping.
