Description: One pound lot of Beautiful Blue Rough Sieber Agate. Pretty swirling colors!. Sieber agate is formed when copper is being extracted from copper ore. The process is over 1400 years old and it leaves a glassy material that is deep blue in color. Found in Siebertal, Harz, Germany. It is very similar in characteristics to obsidian. The largest piece is over 2.75" across and they weigh over 1 pound together. These are large and great for cabbing or just collecting.
