Very good condition. There is pencil writing on the table of contents. Edge and corner wear. But considering the age it's in great shape. Cover is loose from the inside pages. Center 4 pages are also loose from the binding. No tears or missing pages. 10 1/8" tall x 8 1/8" wide. Gilbert Home Chemistry has 26 pages plus the convers. Copyright 1952. Inside pages are easily readable with very little wear. However, the upper right corner of the front cover shows an approximately 1" tear along the top edge of the spine. You can see the stain on the back as well and a larger piece torn along the spine. Some of the inside pages have a bit of this tear along the spine as well. But none of the text is affected. 10 1/8" tall x 8" wide. Gilbert Chemistry Outfit is a smaller size 7" tall x 5 1/8" wide, 72 pages plus covers. Copyright 1952. Name written in ink on the cover. Inside pages are excellent although there are some small spots. Back cover has stains, spots and scuffing. No tears or missing pages. All pages and the covers are secure. Will ship in a padded envelope with cardboard.
