Description: SOLD AS A LOT ONLY – NO, I AM NOT WILLING TO BREAK UP THE SET This is a lot of 24 paperback mystery books for kids, all of which were written or co-written by Donald J. Sobol. The first 20 books are from the Encyclopedia Brown series. The condition of the books ranges from FAIR to VG+ (very good plus), with my rating scale progressing as follows: FAIR . . G . . G+ . . VG- . . VG . . VG+ . . NF- . . NF A book that is in FAIR condition will have a fair bit of wear, but it will not have any flaws that would make it unreadable or horribly unsightly. The cover may be a little soiled and/or tanned from age and will have moderate or more edge wear. The corners may have been bumped. There may be some creasing on the front, back or spine. The spine may be a little faded, slanted and/or a little cocked. Clear tape may have been applied at the top or bottom of the spine to repair a small tear. There may be a name, inscription, price or bookstore stamp inside somewhere. The pages will be tight, but they may be less crisp than when new, may show some age tanning, and may have small smudges, stains and corner folds. Two or three pages may have a small edge tear. The odd cover crease has been reinforced with clear tape inside the cover to prevent it from becoming a tear. One book has a very small piece torn from the upper corner of the front cover. One book has some warping on the lower half of the front cover and lighter warping on the lower half of the first few pages. A book that is in NF condition will be almost like new. The cover may have slight edge wear and the pages may show a little age tanning. There may be a price sticker on the back cover.
