Description: This collection of 15 Quartz Points used to be owned by Dorothy Middleton Nelson. She was the founder of the Thunderbird Museum in New Jersey and ran it from the 1930’s to the 1960’s. She supposedly had the 4th largest private collection of Indian Artifacts in North America at the time with nearly 50,000 artifacts. Then due to a series of unfortunate events the collection was sold off and the museum was demolished. Walt Podpora then purchased some of her artifacts in 1996 and this 15 Quartz Points was one of them. These points were found in Burlington County, New Jersey. I then purchased these points at a Marburg Auction on 03/04/2023. Marburg specializes in selling genuine Native American Indian artifacts. You will see pictures of paperwork from the Marburg Auction showing the provenance and these papers will be included in this auction. You will also get the case with the glass top that has some stickers on it. The sticker in the upper right corner seems to indicate that Walt bought this on 10/25/1996. I do not know what the J. K. 56 stands for that is on the stickers. The longest point in this lot is 1 1/2 inches.
