They have had these for years and it does not impair functionality. See photos. - battery is at 75% health. May need a change in a few years. Still lasts about 150 minutes screen time. - hotspot tethering does not work. Wifi and Bluetooth and wifi routing like pda net do. The device was used an always on hotspot tether (which is not the intended use), and I think the antenna finally broke after years of use. .
