This is a FABULOUS set of four dining or side chairs by Shaver Howard composed of incredible clear coated steel frames with straight front and splayed back legs which also create the outer edge of the slatted backs, and they are wearing a greige (beige/gray) textured tweed fabric that will eventually need reupholstered. We never think of that as a negative aspect because we LOVE new fabrics… and think of the ENDLESS and incredible possibilities! Upon our extensive research we were able to confirm that this set was created prior to 1980 when Shaver Howard became Johnston Casuals. So, sometime in the “Groovy 70’s!” Ahhhhh, the “Decade of Disco!” No wonder this set of chairs is so FAB! Obviously they will be awesome surrounding your dining table, breakfast nook, or game table; however, they would be beautiful in your living room or sitting area utilized as side chairs for extra seating.
