Co. and California Clock Co. This listing is for a new motor mounting plate (dial plate) .. fits most Kit Cats as well as the Owl, Poodle and Panda Clocks. This plate will accept BOTH types of motors used from the early 50's through the early 80's. The older style motor has the round top/ pear shaped base. the other type (WG- 500) has an oval or "peanut" shaped top with a rectangle shaped base.Many times the original plate will warp or become brittle and cracked with heat and or age, causing any number of problems with the proper operation of your clock. This plate was made with the superior type of plastic that resists warping. PLEASE NOTE: This will not work on the earliest Allied clocks with Brass Movement or Bakelite Plastic Square shaped plates...nor will it work on the 80's type with the CM-10 motor.
