The dial of this pocket watch is made from enamel. The fusee movement has a Sprung Detent Escapement and Hellical hairpring which's make it Chronometer The movement is engraved with " J R ARNOLD CHAAS FRODSMAN 84 STRAND LONDON 6511 . Though the dial is inscribed Arnold/ Chas Frodsham/ 6511 . The hands are made from blued steel. The open face silver case has serial number 1690, a London hallmark seems to be made in 1836 accoding to the hallmark and CH mark . The watch it is in very good working condition and it's measure 49mm Charles Frodsham was born into a dynasty of clock, watch and chronometer makers in 1810.
